It's a hole in the wall that's been around for many many years!! $2 for 4 pan fried dumplings (now in 2025). I usually order $4 worth and a small hot and soup. It'll keep me full for many hours. It comes piping hot and super fast. There is more seats in the back area next door. I use to eat here wayyyy back ago. I'm talking about 6 dumplings for $1.25!!!! The recipe still tastes the same. Two people cost us $15.50 Tips: buy a huge bag of frozen dumplings to take home (if you like how it taste!!) Also, can use credit card over $10+.

This is a pretty neat place to go for just simple Chinese food. I order pan fried dumplings, sour and spicy soup, scallion pancake and tea leave eggs. Some of the items had price were different than the menu, mostly just about a quarter. We're not a big problem for me. A lot of people stoped by and ordered to go. Very good price for food, and it's a clean up after yourself kind of place, so no tips really needed (but they do have a tips jar, if you wanted to tips them) Should give it a try for the pan fried dumplings, and eat them while they are hot. It's not so good when them got cold. Sour spicy soup is a MUST try! My kids, my husband and I all fell in love with it! I ordered a small at first but had to went back for a large. Super good! Scallion pan cake was a disappointment, barely had any scallions in it. Tea leave eggs were tasteless. I haven't try their noodles, but I saw a lot of people went in for pan fried dumplings and their noodles.

Life is Short. F.....it up! Family, Flavor, Friends while in New York over the weekend, decided to try out this dumpling place as it had pretty good ratings. Haven't walked in looked like the place does a lot of frozen dumplings at really good values which a lot of people were buying. They're also have a online portal through fantuan where people can order online. They're a seating couple tables and a couple benches where people can go if they're alone. The prices are definitely great. This is one of those shops that you know have been there for a long time and just don't expect shiny silverware and everything to be a five star hotel cleanliness. The pork and chive dumplings, boiled or fried are definitely the highlight although I did see people ordering beef noodle soup which look really good. I would skip the soup dumplings just because it's not the right outer skin as you would expect but the feeling is good. The chili sauce is also a good highlight when you open it up take a smell. It's really nutty and really good. Definitely recommend this place if you're around the neighborhood

Literal hole in the wall and easy to miss if you don't know it's there. I visit this place every so often if I'm in the area. I recommend the pan fried dumplings and not the boiled ones. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo as I devoured them too quickly. So while the prices have gone up over the years, I think the quality of their dumplings and the taste has reflected that... and even then these dumplings are still pretty budget friendly. The dumplings are very very flavorful! And if you wanted to, eat them with the provided sauces for even more flavor! Also, eat them when they're hot! In addition, years ago, the dumpling skin of the pan fried dumplings used to be thicker/chewier but now it's thinner and crispier, the way it should be!

Kai Feng Fu is a great spot for a quick and affordable meal, especially if you love dumplings. For $5-10, you can easily get a full meal. The service is impressively fast, with pan-fried dumplings coming out in seconds. Their scallion pancakes are crispy and packed with flavor, making them a perfect side dish. The restaurant has a few tables inside, but it's more of a grab-and-go place. Although they say it's cash only under $10, some friends have told me otherwise, so it's worth double-checking. All in all, it's a go-to for quick, delicious eats!
